Ivan O'Connor - Founder and Managing Director

An honours business degree graduate from the University of Limerick, Ivan brings to ICE Tech an impressive proven commercial background with blue chip sales and export marketing experience in the US, Europe, Russia, North Africa and the Middle East. A French and Russian speaker Ivan spent nearly 5 years working in New York, San Francisco and Moscow. Ivan has been a finalist in the Shell LiveWire and national Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. Ivan is responsible for strategic direction, corporate finance, and strategic new product development and has been with the company since it’s inception in December 1998.

Responsibilities: Strategic Management, Product Development, Key Accounts, Finance, and HR

Shane O’Reilly –Head of IT

Shane is an honours Computer Science graduate from NUI Maynooth, Shane has a deep proficiency of the key technologies relevant to ICE Tech’s product offerings. This would specifically include Windows Networking Protocols, C++, HTML and Visual Basic plus a comprehensive understanding of hardware systems and network administration. Shane joined the organisation in December 2002.

Responsibilities: R&D, Software Development, Systems Management & Quality Assurance

Peter McManus – Head of Operations

Peter has been with ICE Tech for 9 years and has been closely involved with every major contract that the company has completed to date. Peter brings this in-depth experience of the kiosk business to each new project and is a key contributor to the product development team at concept development and production planning stages.

Responsibilities: Operations, Production, Installations & On Site Customer Support.

Aoibheann Sweeney – Key Account Manager

Aoibheann is an honours Marketing & Languages graduate from Dublin Institute of Technology. Aoibheann has over 6 years experience in multi-lingual customer care, marketing and key account management and has worked in a number of blue chip companies. Aoibheann joined ICE Tech in 2002.

Responsibilities: Sales, Marketing, Customer Care & After Sales Support

James O’Reilly – Senior IT Technician

James is a graduate of Blanchardstown Institute of Technology with a Diploma in IT Support. Prior to joining ICE Tech in 2004 James worked in the retail IT sector with experience in Chip and Pin technology and field engineering.

Responsibilities: IT Helpdesk Support and On Site Field Engineering
