Kiosk Installation & Commissioning
Service
The Field Service division of ICE Tech is responsible for the safe
delivery, correct installation of a kiosk network and training for
client personnel as appropriate. Before leaving a client site, the
Field Service Engineer will ensure that each kiosk is working
correctly, is configured per the client’s specification and client
personnel are fully trained to manage the kiosk locally.
After Sales On Site Kiosk Support
Qualified ICE Tech engineers are on call to provide same, next or 2nd
day on site support for your kiosk network. All ICE Tech kiosks are
specifically designed with field engineering in mind ensuring that on
site repairs can be effected quickly and with a minimum of fuss.
Preventative Maintenance
A recommended service provided by ICE Tech is Preventative Maintenance
whereby an ICE Tech engineer will call to each kiosk on a pre
scheduled basis to effect routine servicing and cleaning. The
recommended callout frequency is twice annually for indoor and 4 times
annually for outdoor units.
Cleaning, Cash Collection & Printer Restocking
It is our practise to out source these services to local service
providers where possible as this proves to be far more cost effective
for the customer.
Kiosk Training
Standard staff training is provided by the instalation engineer
following each deployment. Additional staff training can be provided
to personnel such as:
- Content Developers & Content Managers
- Customer Facing Staff
- First Line Helpdesk
- Network Administrators
Kiosk Upgrades
All ICE Tech kiosks are designed so as to be easily and cost
effectively upgraded at any time in the field. Should you require the
addition of a printer or the removal of a keyboard then an ICE Tech
engineer can go on site, perform the upgrade and recommission the
kiosk quickly and with a minimum of fuss.
